Over the years, we became aware of the strengths and weaknesses of these flanging Systems. With the Tri-Seal flange system, we have embodied the best of these systems and have extended their capabilities. In situations where standard flange systems were not getting the job done, Tri-Seal has been found to excel. Highlights of the system are:
Elastomer Seals
- Guaranteed leak tight to 1 x 10-9 std cc/sec.
- Guaranteed leak tight on pressures up to 300 PSI (no overpressure rings needed with elastomer seals in ISO system).
- Standard ISO-QE clamps can be used to seal the elastomer design only
- Elastomer seal design eliminates virtual leak problems and a coating of vacuum grease is not needed for guaranteed leak tight sealing.
Metal Seals
- Guaranteed leak tight in high temperature, ultra high vacuum with application to 10-13 torr.
- For the first time, an alternative to the CF flange is available along with ease of assembly/disassembly.
- Guaranteed leak tight on pressures up to 300 PSI with metal seal.
- Stainless metal seal can also be used for sealing cryongenic applications.
